Useful Information About Registration
Both Standard and Student Congress Registration fees will include full conference attendance from Monday 16th June to Thursday 19th June 2025 inclusive of:
Admission to scientific program with oral and poster presentation
Admission to exhibition
Access to abstracts in electronic form
Coffee breaks
Lunches (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)Payments
Payments can be made only by credit card.
Payments by credit card can be done during the online registration process. You will get a confirmation of registration and payment afterwards via email. All payments should be made in CHF. Personal cheques and foreign currency are not accepted.
Cancellation and Refunds
Please keep the below in mind, should you need to cancel your registration:
No cancellation fee will apply for cancellation requests by 1 April 2025.
From 2nd April to 1st May 2023, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee will apply.
Regrettably, no refunds will be granted after 17th May 2025 in which your full registration fees will be forfeited.
No refund will be made in case of non-appearance.Kindly note, that all registration changes and cancellations have to be communicated via email at eors-caos-2025@aofoundation.org. The time at which the written cancellation is received is deemed to be the time of cancellation.
Insurance
The registration fee does not include insurance of any kind. The organizer is not liable for any losses of things, accidents, destruction and damage of property and/or in the injury of persons, the reason not mattering. This applies for travel to/from the conference as well as the attendance in the conference. Participants and accompanying persons participate in all conference sessions on their own risk. All are advised to personally arrange appropriate travel and health insurance.
Certificate of Attendance
A Certificates of Attendance will be available and issued to you upon request, via email, the week after the congress has taken place.
Registration for ESB2023 is now open
The online registration system will take you step-by-step through the registration process. Upon completion of the registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Inclusivity and widening the access to networking with top-class researchers is a high priority for the ESB2023 organizers.
With the aim to facilitate participation to the ESB2023 conference for participants from areas with reduced resources and opportunities, we are glad to introduce reduced registration fees for participants with affiliation in countries with Human Development Index (HDI) < 0.850.
For students, we strongly encourage to apply to the Rudolf Cimdins Scholarship.

Student registrations that are not supported by the requested proof within 14 days after registration, will be cancelled.

Rudolf Cimdins Scholarships
This scholarship is given by the ESB council and covers the full ESB conference registration fee of students (Bachelor, Master or PhD) who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference, as they have to travel a very long distance or come from a poorly funded country/group = Human Development Index (HDI) < 0.850.

Cancellation and Refunds
In case of cancellation of the registration or cancellation of single bookings received.
Until June 16, 2023, no cancellation fee will apply.
After June 16 and before July 16, 2023, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee applies.
After July 16, 2023, no refund will be given for any cancellations and the claim for the full payment of all registration fees remains.
